A string of break-ins has put businesses on edge along Main Street in Tucker, with police now turning to the public for help in identifying the culprits. Thieves targeted The Corner Cup Coffee and Nicky’s Undefeated, despite both businesses having security cameras, alarm systems, and bright exterior lighting.

The City of Tucker government has released surveillance footage, and thanked Tucker Precinct DeKalb County Police Department for the quick response. The City of Tucker acknowledged the break-ins in a Facebook post, noting that the same crew hit multiple businesses in unincorporated DeKalb before striking in Tucker.

Thanks to police-recommended security measures, officers arrived at the scene within four minutes, forcing the criminals to flee before causing more damage. Officials praised the businesses for investing in security and urged others to follow suit. Authorities continue their investigation and encourage anyone with information to come forward.
