A former daycare worker accused of molesting children at a Kids ‘R’ Kids in Alpharetta has been offered a plea deal that would require her to serve 20 years in confinement.
Tulsi Patel had worked at the daycare on Webb Bridge Road for just two weeks before she was accused of molesting children in July 2024. Police said she sexually and physically abused 12 children, ages 3 and 4, at the daycare over a five-day period.
Patel faces 15 counts, including aggravated child molestation, and was granted bond in January 2025.
Prosecutors have offered her a 25-year sentence, with 20 years to serve. The deal would also require her to register as a sex offender and prohibit her from interacting with children or having unsupervised contact with them.
Patel has until Nov. 1 to accept the deal. If she does not, the case could go to trial later this year. A Fulton County prosecutor said she could face life plus 122 years if convicted at trial.
The Kids ‘R’ Kids location has since closed. The Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning denied the center’s license application, and the owners later withdrew their appeal.
