Two passengers connected to the hantavirus outbreak aboard a cruise ship arrived in Atlanta on Monday for treatment at Emory University Hospital, health officials said.

Officials said one passenger is showing symptoms while the other is not. Both were taken to Emory’s Serious Communicable Diseases Unit, which has treated patients during previous infectious disease outbreaks.

The patients were among passengers aboard the MV Hondius cruise ship, where multiple hantavirus cases have been reported. At least three deaths have been linked to the outbreak.

Health officials said there is currently no risk to the public. Other passengers connected to the outbreak are being monitored in several states.
