Offset was shot near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood in Hollywood, Florida, on Monday evening.
A representative for the rapper told outlets, “We can confirm Offset was shot and is currently at the hospital receiving medical care. He is stable and being closely monitored.”
Seminole Police said the incident happened in a valet area outside the casino after 7 p.m., where an individual suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Memorial Regional Hospital. Police said officers were on site immediately. Two individuals were detained, and the investigation remains ongoing.
Authorities have not released additional details about what led up to the shooting or whether Offset was the intended target. No other injuries have been publicly confirmed.
