A Delta Air Lines flight from Miami to Atlanta was delayed about an hour after a passenger refused to end a phone call during safety instructions.
The passenger was asked multiple times to end the call as the flight prepared for departure but refused. The situation escalated, and the plane returned to the gate so she could be removed.
Some people recorded video while others urged her to get off, as police responded and the plane was cleared.
Shannon Marie Harris of Tyrone was then removed and arrested. She now faces a criminal trespass charge.
Delta said in a statement that disruptive behavior is not tolerated and apologized to those on board.
